A Nigerian woman has tragically passed away just a month after relocating to the UK with her family. The heartbreaking news was shared on X (formerly Twitter) by a Nigerian abroad, using the handle @Oluomoofderby.
The woman, identified as Mrs. Olubunmi Okeniyi, moved to the UK with her family on September 16, 2024, but sadly passed away on October 13, 2024.
In an emotional post, @Oluomoofderby announced:
“With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Mrs. Olubunmi Okeniyi, who tragically left us on 13/10/24 at 4:30 pm in Sunderland, UK. Mrs. Olubunmi, who had arrived in the UK with her two sons on 16/09/24, is survived by her husband, Mr. Jacob Okeniyi.”
